 As BLOK’s reputation has grown so too has their portfolio of work.
The troupe were successful in reaching the studio semi final of BBC Three's TV show "Move Like Michael Jackson". The 8 BLOK members representing the troupe were invited to audition for the show in front of judge and renowned Casting Director Mark Summers. BLOK were selected from thousands of dancers from all over the UK to compete against the other final 15 acts. To watch the girls in the 1st of the studio semi finals click here. The Troupe are professionally trained to a high standard in a variety of dance styles including Latin American, Salsa, Hip Hop, Hip Hop Combination, Freestyle, Rock & Roll and Cheerleading. BLOK was originally formed through Kay Klass Hip Hop and Street School of Dance in early 2007 with only 8 dancers and since then have gone from strength to strength recruiting more dancers each year and performing at various events all over the UK. BLOK are also proud to represent Glasgow Rangers Football Club as their officail Cheerleading Squad.  |
